FEMALE OFFICER - 2-Day Patrol Rifle Course Hosted by the Randall County Sheriff's Office RTS Tactical will be on-site on DAY 1, demonstrating their ballistic equipment. Designed by female law enforcement officers for female law enforcement officers. The goal of this course is to impart the skills and knowledge required to survive a fight for your life. Students will develop improved firearms accuracy with the Patrol Rifle, mental preparation and confidence through this challenging training education concept. Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience while building confidence, tactical awareness, and decision-making skills essential for officer safety and field performance. Robinson Memorial Range - 6901 Burtz Rd, Canyon, TX 79015 Certification ✔ 16 Hours TCOLE Credit Firearms Instructors: Dorcia Meador 31-year Fort Worth Police veteran and firearms instructor for over 24 years Jaime Malone Active Fort Worth Police Department officer with 21 years of service with the department Course Benefits Subjects include, but not limited to: Review of shooters basic firearms techniques with the Patrol Rifle Equipment set up for the female Mental preparation Aiming Scheme vs Trigger Press Positions review, because size matters Skill Drills with movement Distance with accuracy 24 (no more than two) Student Equipment Requirements Brimmed Hat, eye and ear protection Patrol Rifle & minimum of 3 rifle magazines Duty belts and Accessories Duty handgun Holster Magazine pouches Minimum of three (3) Pistol magazines 700 Rifle Training ammunition 200 rounds handgun Training ammunition Body armor Recommended Equipment Gloves-(for shooting a firearm) Long Sleeves lightweight shirt Elbow & Knee pads Water Bottle Snacks Sunscreen PREREQUISITES: Each student must be a sworn law enforcement or federal agent. They must have a working knowledge of the Patrol Rifle from their agency and have passed their department qualification with the Patrol Rifle. This is not a beginner’s course for the Patrol Rifle. ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION: For acceptance to Cinco Peso Training Group program, individual registration must be submitted by e-mail prior to the first day of class.
