School Security & Active Shooter Preparedness
School Defender from Cinco Peso Training Group

Creating and maintaining a comprehensive school security plan is essential to protecting students, teachers, and staff in today’s world. When a crisis such as an active shooter situation occurs, preparedness and training can make the difference between chaos and control.

Cinco Peso Training Group’s Texas School Defender Program, developed in 2009, was created with one primary goal in mind — to empower faculty members with the knowledge, skills, and ability to protect themselves and the children in their care while awaiting the arrival of Police, Fire, or EMS. Our program provides active shooter response training, threat assessment, lockdown procedures, and post-incident care to help control injuries and provide lifesaving aid when seconds count.
CPTG sells ballistic shields that meet the Texas law requiring a shield for every campus.
CPTG sells Halligan Tool Kits that satisfy breaching tool requirements.
