Jaime Malone

Jaime Malone is an active Fort Worth Police Department officer with 21 years of service with the department and 23 years of total law enforcement experience. She serves as a Police Officer and Firearms Instructor and is one of FWPD’s primary instructors for recruit, in-service, and advanced firearms training.

Since 2008, Jaime has instructed FWPD officers in handgun, shotgun, patrol carbine, firearms qualification, and remedial firearms training. She has also served as the department’s primary Force-on-Force and Force-on-Target instructor for recruit firearms training since 2011.

Her teaching experience includes:

 

  • Basic, intermediate, and advanced handgun skills

  • Tactical pistol and patrol carbine

  • Reactive shooting and advanced gunfighting

  • Team tactics and close-quarters battle

  • Active-shooter response

  • Low-light and pistol-mounted-light techniques

  • Patrol marksman and precision-rifle instruction

  • Scenario-based Force-on-Force training

  • Motorcycle officer tactical shooting

  • Firearms instructor development and certification


Jaime has designed and instructed numerous advanced courses for FWPD and Women of Law Enforcement, including Combat Firearms, Next Level Gunfighting, Advanced Pistol/Carbine, Reactive Shooting, Team Tactics/CQB, and Mechanics and Skill Building.

She holds a TCOLE Master Peace Officer License, Advanced Instructor certification, and Firearms Instructor certification. Her additional credentials include Simunition Instructor, NRA Handgun, Shotgun, Carbine and Select-Fire Instructor, and Red Dot Pistol Instructor.
